ALFI is a continuing education and networking ecosystem. This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes the types of personal information we may collect about our
members, how we collect, use, process, and disclose personal information, and the choices you can make about how we collect, use, process, and disclose personal
information. This Notice applies to personal information collected through our website, presentations we host, third parties, and anywhere else this Notice is posted.
Collection and Usage
We collect personal information when you use our site and choose to engage with us by registering for webinars, visiting our website, filling out forms, purchasing services from
us, and completing a survey. This information may be collected directly from you or indirectly through your device or browser when you visit our site.
We use your information to fulfill product and service orders, customize and improve the advertising and content we offer, offer suggestions for products and services based on
your content or use of our website, deliver marketing communications and promotional materials that you may be interested in, contact you and provide customer service or
technical support, protect the security or integrity of our databases or websites, detect and prevent fraud or illegal activity, and take precautions against liability.
Personal Identification Information
We collect name, job title, company, credentials, postal address, email address, phone number, state bar number, and tax identification number to inform you regarding our
company, products, and services, market and sell our products and services to you, process your payments, maintain and service your account, provide customer service and technical support, produce and share informational and educational content, detect security incidents and protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and maintain legal and regulatory compliance. Services providers who may access this information are as follows: Our affiliates partners, marketing services and webinar hosting providers, payment processors, professional advisors, and accrediting bodies.
Payment Information
We collect order details, credit card information, checks, billing and shipping addresses to process payments, facilitate services, and detect security incidents. Access to payment information is limited to our payment processor, Stripe, and regulatory authorities.
Internet Activity Information
We collect information such as marketing consents, IP address, location, cookies, website browsing, and interaction activity to enhance your user experience, employ analytics to improve and promote our products and services, personalize your website experience, and detect security incidents. Service providers who may access this information are as follows: marketing services providers, website performance and analytics providers, and site security.
Social Media
If you interact with content on our social media profiles (for example, if you “like” or share a post from one of our accounts, such as LinkedIn,,, YouTube, Instagram, or
others), those social media sites may share information about you with us, including your public profile, e-mail address, and friend list. If you choose to “like” or share
content, information about you may be publicly displayed on the social network, depending on your privacy settings. ALFI can share your information among our corporate affiliates for purposes described in this Notice. ALFI does not sell, rent, or lease its customer information to unrelated third parties. We may share registration data with a trusted partner who has served as content provider. ALFI is not responsible for any actions such third parties may take with respect to such registration data.
Regulatory, Law Enforcement, and Other Situations
We may be required to share certain information to respond to a subpoena or similar judicial process – for example, to comply with applicable laws, as may be permitted or required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) or other regulatory requirements, to protect the security or integrity of our databases or website, to take

We may use cookies, local storage, and other technologies to automatically collect information. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics for some of our products and services and to develop content. At this time, we do not modify your experiences based upon whether such a signal is broadcast.
Children
Our products and services are intended for an adult audience and are not targeted directly at children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child under the age of 16, and do not have parent or guardian

The Accounting, Legal, and Finance Institute, LLC manages personal information covered by this Notice and uses your information when it is necessary provide the products you buy and or services you register for; when it is necessary to operate our business for direct marketing purposes, to make and receive payments; when it is necessary to provide security for our websites, products, software, or applications and to prevent fraud; when it is necessary to use your information to comply with applicable legal obligations, which consent you may withdraw at any time.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA):

Member Rights
You have the following rights concerning your personal data that we hold and process that you can exercise at any time. At any time, you have the right to request access to
your personal information, edit, correct, and update your personal information; request deletion of your personal information; restrict processing of your personal information; and object to the processing of your personal information; and you may submit a request by contacting info@alfi.org.
Information necessary for the purposes of maintaining business records regarding a deleted or cancelled account, including records of credit transactions and account
ownership, will be retained in accordance with applicable law. We may decline to process requests that are frivolous and would undermine our legitimate use of data for anti-fraud and security purposes.
