His work spans IRS examinations and appeals, U.S. Tax Court litigation, collection matters including liens, levies, and installment agreements, offers in compromise, innocent spouse claims, trust fund recovery penalty defense, and parallel state controversies across multiple jurisdictions. Mike’s combined legal and accounting background allows him to handle technically complex matters, from substantiation and reconstruction disputes to worker classification, employment tax, and partnership audit issues under the BBA regime, without handing off the numbers to outside experts.
